Johor To Drive Sales Momentum For Hua Yang

Last update: 24/09/2014JOHOR BAHARU, Sept 24 (Bernama) -- Property developer Hua Yang Bhd expects Johor to drive the sales momentum for the group in the financial year ending March 31, 2015, driven by its new launches.

To date, about 40 per cent of the total gross development value (GDV) of the new launches nationwide planned for the current financial year is from Johor, said the group in a statement here today.

"Currently, the total projects in Johor are worth RM433 million of GDV. The company also has projects in Negeri Sembilan, the Klang Valley and Perak," the group said.

Aside from Citywoods, other on-going projects include Taman Pulai Indah, Taman Pulai Hijauan, both of which are residential township projects, as well as The Gardens @ Polo Park, which consists of semi-detached and bungalow houses.

Citywoods, which combines the concept of urban living and a natural 'green' environment, will be officially launched on Sept 26.

It comprises two towers of serviced apartments of 19 storeys each, consisting of 417 units spanning 2.21 acres (0.89 ha.) of freehold land.

It is situated along the famed Jalan Abdul Samad behind the five-star Thistle Hotel.
