PASFA To Venture Into Property Development

Last update: 22/06/2017

KUANTAN, June 22 (Bernama) --The Pahang Farmers' Organisation (PASFA) is venturing into housing construction and property development to generate more income, said its chairman Datuk Mustaffar Kamal Ab Hamid.

For a start, he said, PASFA would be involved in a development project, costing RM500 million, scheduled to be implemented end of the year.

"Prior to this, PASFA's revenue is mostly from oil palm plantation and agriculture activities, but now, we are diversifying by venturing into housing and property involving a 100 acre project in Gambang.

"The project not only involves building of houses, but also a farmers' complex, a multi-purpose hall and a tahfiz centre for children," he told reporters at a breaking of fast hosted by the organisation yesterday.

He said PASFA also planned to open five more agro bazaars following the success of its two agro bazaars at Indera Mahkota and Tanah Putih here.
