KUALA LUMPUR, March 7 (Bernama) -- Lot 15, Sime Darby Property Bhd's newest development in Subang Jaya, has received an overwhelming response, partly due to its interconnectivity with facilities and amenities within close reach.
In a statement today, newly-appointed Chief Marketing/Sales Officer, Gerard Yuen Yun Wei, said the development offered freehold ownership and aimed to fulfill the needs of first-time home buyers and young professionals, as well as investors.
"Lot 15 is located at the point of where culture, community, commerce and connectivity converge. It is designed to fulfill the needs of a progressive community while reflecting the unmistakable spirit and culture of Subang Jaya," he said.
Yuen said Lot 15, launched in November 2017, offered serviced apartments comprising two 20-storey residential towers with 361 residential units and three levels of retail units.
"The prices start from RM593,888 (before Bumiputera discount and sales rebate) and the built-up areas start from 624 square feet (sq ft) to 1,001 sq ft and unit types ranging from 1+1 to 2+1 bedrooms," he said.
Meanwhile, in a separate statement, the company said, Yuen's appointment was effective on March 1, 2018.
Yuen was formerly Chief Sales Officer for Mah Sing Group Bhd and prior to that, he was Head of Sales and Marketing for the Property Division of Sunway Group, it said.
Sime Darby Property said it has also appointed Aravindan Devapalan Nair as Chief Assurance Officer, effective March 5, 2018.
Prior to joining the company, Aravindan was Chief Internal Auditor of Wah Seong Corp Bhd, a local listed company, it said.
"Their (Yuen and Aravindan) combined expertise and knowledge will certainly bolster the management team as we position the company for future growth," said the company's Group Managing Director, Amrin Awaluddin.
