Pahang To Reward 2015 National Sportsman, Coach Of The Year With PR1MA House

KUANTAN, Nov 22 (Bernama) -- The Pahang government is planning to reward the state's silat athlete and coach named the the National Sportsman and Coach of the Yearfor 2015 with a unit of 1Malaysia People's Housing (PR1MA) or house-lot each, the State Assembly was told.
State Youth and Sports Committee chairman Datuk Johari Hussain said the reward was an incentive and an encouragement for both Mohd Al-Jufferi Jamari and Nasri Nasir was for bringing honour to Pahang.
"We have discussed the proposal to give them some incentives, but we are still waiting for the proposal to be finalised."
He said this in reply to Datuk Md Sohaimi Mohamed Shah (BN-Sungai Lembing) who wanted to know the reward awaiting Mohd Al-Jufferi and Nasri for becoming the first athlete and coach from Pahang to claim the titles in 50 years.
Johari also said that the state government was committed and had taken various measures to develop the sports sector, including by raising the allowance for coaches from RM1,000 to RM2,000 to prevent them from moving to other states.
