325 PPR Units Occupied In Taman Muhibbah, Sandakan

SANDAKAN, March 5 (Bernama) -- Some 325 People's Housing Project (PPR) units in Taman Muhibbah, Batu 12 here, have been occupied by qualified applicants.



In July 2015, 500 PPR units had been completed with 187 recipients being handed over the units in the first phase and 138 recipients in the second phase.



Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman delivered the keys to 10 recipients for the second phase in a ceremony, Sunday.



Speaking at the ceremony, he said the construction of the Taman Muhibbah PPR was included in the Pekan Muhibbah development plan.



He said the other facilities which were completed and in use in Pekan Muhibbah were the Mosque, Taman Cahaya Complex and the shophouses.



According to Musa, the additional facilities to be built are the Sports Complex, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Muhibbah and 'Pusat Kemas'.



The Chief Minister said this is how the Barisan Nasional (BN) is always striving to help the people and seeing to their welfare.



There are five five-storey residential blocks in the Taman Muhibbah PPR which is equipped with three shoplots, five stalls, a futsal court, basketball court, sepak takraw court and a children's playground.
